Why We Started

With over 30 years of experience as landlords and directors of an award-winning letting agency, we were constantly frustrated by the lack of high-quality, purpose-built sofas for student and HMO properties.

In early 2024, we decided to create a solution that would meet the specific needs of this market. By collaborating with an upholsterer and furniture maker with over 30 years of industry experience, The Student Sofa Company was born.
